THE STORY
Singer, songwriter and music producer Joanny is gradually building momentum, and has played in a number of venues and events across Melbourne, including stage support for international acts on tour in Australia. He has landed several features on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, as well as channels like MTV Australia, PBS fm and Triple J.
With his music drawing from Afro, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and R&B influences, as well as his energetic performances, Joanny has become a great addition to the festival scene. Joanny headlined the 2019 Sounds of Afrobeats in Melbourne, and was a key performer at the 2022 Promiseland in Gold Coast.
His single ‘Call On Me’ was released on the 28th of October, and landed on several Spotify editorial playlists including New Music Friday Au/NZ, Nigeria and Ghana.
